The ecological effect of rare earths on soil affects soil productivity and ecological balance directly,which is one of the basic and hot spots in the research field of environmental result assessment for agricultural utilized rare earths.In this paper,the ecological effect of rare earths on soil was summarized from those as the geochemistry characters of REEs in soil,the effect of REEs on soil properties,and the ecological risk assessment of REEs in soil et al.,and it was put forward some aspects that should be further investigated at the end.
