The heavy metal polluted soils were remediated with phosphate rock, furfural dreg and weathered coal respectively. The results showed that these materials decreased the available contents of heavy metals in soils. Weathered coal remediated Zn and Cu better than the other materials. Available Zn and Cu concentrations in soils with 80 g/kg weathered coal decreased by 37.22% and 31.22% respectively. Phosphate rock remediated Pb best, available Pb concentration in soils with 80 g/kg phosphate rock decreased by 23.79%. The remediation effect of Cd was the most significant, available Cd concentration decreased by 83.09% with 40 g/kg phosphate rock. Under the experimental condition, the best remediation effect of the four kinds of heavy metals was Cd, followed by Zn and Pb.
