The effects of nutrient management, leaf area index（LAI）, the shape of heading stage and the nitrogen use efficiency were studied under different nutrient treatments (4+X) by taking Xudao3 as the material. The results showed that optimizing nutrient management could increase the yield and the nitrogen use efficiency. Compared with the local high-yield mode, the high-yielding and high-N-use-efficiency cultivation mode increased the economic income by 32.7% (4 366.5 Yuan/hm2) and increased the nitrogen use efficiency from 17.0% to 36.1%.
