Abstract:The study selected rocky slopes of Yantian Port highway in Shenzhen City for vegetation survey, which had already been ecological restored for ten years. Under different eco-restoration methods such as the thick layer base material spraying method, external-soil spray seeding method, natural restoration method, physicochemical property and enzyme activity of soil, plant diversity, the correlation between soil properties and plant diversity were analyzed. The results showed that under different eco-restoration modes: 1) soil properties and enzyme activities showed consistent trends: thick layer base material sprayed slopes > external-soil spray seeded slopes > natural recovered slopes; 2) after ecological restoration, rocky slopes had achieved initial vegetation cover, but not obvious; vegetation diversity index and richness index were low, plant community was still in the early successional stages of shrub-herb community; 3) soil properties were significantly correlated with plant diversity. Soil available N had extremely highly significantly positive correlation with plant evenness index, significant positive correlation with diversity index; soil total P was significantly negative correlated with plant evenness index; soil available P was extremely highly significantly negative correlated with plant richness, diversity and evenness; soil total K was extremely significantly negative correlated with plant richness index, significant negative correlated with diversity index; soil available K was extremely significantly negative correlated with plant evenness; activity of soil sucrase was significant negative correlated with the evenness of herbs. Plant configuration, improvements of technology and engineering methods were also proposed based on the above results.
